Who are we?
NPSG is formed from a collection of parents with at least one child in Nexus who are interested in their children’ happiness and welfare.
Why are we here?
We are here to help the school to be the best it can be for our children’s enrichment

To pull together services and talents of the school families in school-related educational, social and fundraising activities through reaching out to other parents and social events committees
To create a relaxed atmosphere for parents to feel a part of their child’s school experience

Nexus Parent Support Group plays an important role in organising activities, fundraising, curriculum-based programmes, and social events, all vital to a school’s success.
NPSG is organised around the following goals:
Assisting with the development of the School
Promoting a good image for the School
Providing a link between the School, students and the community
Supporting projects and fundraising activities for the benefit of the School and the community
The number-one reason to join the Nexus Parent Support Group is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help the school. There are many more advantages. Here are just a few:

Parenting is not easy, it helps to share ideas, concerns and experiences with other parents and educators in the community.
NPSG functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with NPSG, you gain valuable experiences. It’s an opportunity to put your skills and hobbies to good use for a good cause – your child and all children in the community. Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes.
Be a Role Model. By becoming an NPSG member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.
We want our parents to be part of the school and participate in its growth and development. Parents have a wealth of experiences, knowledge and ideas which can be a huge asset to the school and its students.
Some parents may enjoy helping with school trips, sports, clubs and games activities. Many will help with our theatrical and musical programmes. A small number of parents may wish to help on a more regular basis, in the school library to help individuals read or assist small groups of students in project work.
It is envisaged that some of the school facilities will be used by parents in organising their own drama and sporting productions and in other events.
