Universum针对近60000名美国大学生作调查，显示企业受欢迎的程度深受不同专业与不同类型的学生族群影响，此调查分别从研究领域与族群类型两方面作评估。
受访的商学院学生被分为七大类型: Careerists野心家类型、Entrepreneur 企业家类型、Explorer探险家类型、Harmonizer安稳型、Hunter猎人型、Idealist理想主义型与Leader领导人类型。
野心家类型容易受企业的声望吸引；企业家类型寻求能快速成长的企业，并具有创造性和充满活力的工作环境；探险家类型要富有挑战性的工作和各种不同的任务；维持工作与生活的平衡是安稳型的优先考量；猎人型则注重高薪资和未来前景；理想主义型希望雇主拥有高道德标准和友好的工作环境；而领导型在寻求指导与管理团队的机会。
注: 排名是根据59643名美国大专学生的反应，由Universum于2011年12月至2012年3月所进行的调查。排名顺序则是根据20,269名商学院学生的调查结果。在括号后的数字显示自2011年的变化，依正负数表示名次异动状况。
