2013年开始了，我们又回到了美丽又温馨的道南，我们又能够见到自己可爱的同学、亲切的老师及温和的校长， 我们又可以在一起快快乐乐的运动游戏及认真专心的读书学习！学校在2013年底会搬到勿洛的临时校址，让现有的学校能进行扩建。两年后我们会搬回来，到时，同学将能享用一个焕然一新的学习环境，我们将拥有新的体育馆，更大的课室及更好的设备。希望大家好好珍惜在学校扩建前的每一个日子。在新的一年，我们希望同学能够学会做到 “爱学习，学会爱”。同学上课不只要学会做到“专心”，做作业时要“小心”，温习功课时要“用心”, 我们更希望同学学会做到“爱学习”, 因为只有热爱学习, 才能真正做到“专心”、“小心”及“用心”。此外，我们也希望同学“学会爱”，不单单学会爱护自己，更要学会去爱护同学、爱护学校、爱护父母，爱护环境及爱护国家，成为一个品学兼优的好学生、好孩子、好公民！

The year of 2013 has begun, and we are back to the beautiful and warm environment of Tao Nan School. Once again, we can be with our adorable classmates, amiable teachers and kind principal. Together, we can engage joyfully in sports and games, and also adopt a serious attitude towards our studies and learning!
At the end of 2013, our school will be moving to the holding school located at Bedok to facilitate our Primary Education Review and Implementation (PERI) upgrading process which will take up to two years. Thereafter, we will move back to our current premises and our pupils will be able to enjoy an even more conducive school learning environment. Some of the enhancements include: an indoor sports hall, spacious classrooms, and other improved facilities. We hope you will cherish our last year here and may it bring back fond memories in the future.
In this new school year, we hope that you will strive to achieve our school vision which is to ‘love to learn and learn to love’. When you ‘love to learn’, your passion for learning will naturally spur you to be attentive in class, meticulous in completing your assignments and focussed in your revision of concepts learnt.
In addition, we also hope that you will ‘learn to love’. You should not only love yourself, but also put in effort to love and care for your schoolmates, parents, school, surroundings and country. Only then, will you be exemplary in character and excel in your studies to become a conscientious pupil, filial son/ daughter and useful citizen of our country.
